Crown Motors recently launched the all new Lexus RX450h luxury hybrid SUV on the Hong Kong market.
Their honored guest, Takayuki Katsuda (chief engineer of the RX450h) and Patrick S Lee (managing director of Crown Motors) officiated at the launch ceremony and unveiled the luxury hybrid SUV.

Crown Motors invited Aimee Chan (Miss Hong Kong 2006) to be the emcee of the event. The ceremony reached its climax when she and Fala Chan (first runner-up of Miss Chinese International Pageant 2005) demonstrated the significant features of the SUV together with Wong Siu-wah (product training manager at Crown Motors). In addition the ceremony was truly graced with the presence of special guest, Stephen Chan (general manager of Television Broadcasts).

The all new Lexus RX450h truly expresses the three core elements of simplicity, elegance and anticipation under the Lexus' ground-breaking L-finesse design philosophy. There are two versions of RX450h, the Luxury and the Sport, launched simultaneously in Hong Kong so as to cater to customers' needs.

Luxury

The RX450h is the first SUV in town to be equipped with LED low beam headlamps. The dazzling 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels in large diameter five tri-spoke design, give the vehicle a commanding presence, while the panorama glass roof, with Power Sunshade, significantly enhances the expansive view of this luxury SUV.

The list goes on, with climate control seats, heated and ventilated for driver and front passenger, plus a power back door with remote control and jam protection system enhancing safety and convenience.

With the 10-way power driver seat and front passenger seat, advanced technology seat design allows the front row occupants to easily and quickly find the most comfortable and ergonomic seating position. To top it off, leather provides extra luxury and comfort on all seats.

Sport

The Sport version features 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, the large diameter, five-spoke design giving a sporty presence to the vehicle. Add to these a power moonroof and roof rails to enhance the sporty character.

With the RX450h, Lexus continues to deliver the most luxurious and advanced hybrid vehicles with sophisticated design and superb dynamic performance. Lexus has refined the center console design and multi-information display.

The innovative Lexus Hybrid Drive system not only heightens performance and engine responsiveness but also helps to preserve our environment. As Lee emphasized in his speech: "The all- new Lexus RX450h truly 'gives more to the driver, takes less from the world.'"

Luxury hybrid SUV

The RX450h luxury hybrid SUV features the front-engine, rear-wheel drive electric-4 wheel drive (E-4WD). This, combined with the 3.5 liter V6, 24 valve engine and electric motor achieves the equivalent power of a 4.5 liter engine while still delivering the high fuel economy that would be expected from a 1.5-liter engine.

The electronically-controlled continuously variable transmission (E-CVT) technology contributes significantly to the unsurpassed fuel efficiency while also providing smooth and powerful acceleration.

The RX450h is equipped with the VVT-i engine and high performance electric motor that continually adjusts valve timing for improved performance, fuel economy and lower emissions. Total maximum output reaches approximately 300 horsepower, including both engine and hybrid system.

Tax concession

Qualifying for the Hong Kong government's first tegistration tax concession for environmentally-friendly petrol private cars, this vehicle will save not only the environment but also up to HK$50,000 in registration tax.

Extra safety

The RX450h luxury Hybrid SUV is equipped with Lexus' comprehensive three-stage safety system - preventive, active and protective. The vehicle has one of the most advanced safety systems available today, including 12 airbags.

Quality assurance

Crown Motors provides each new Lexus vehicle with a five-year or 100,000km warranty, and a 10-year warranty on the hybrid battery.

Fala is rare to be found in the English Newspapers in Hong Kong.
If I'm corrected, HK has not more than 3 paid newspapers.

Green is a good concept to be promoted because our earth is infected and polluted.
So, keep a good habit to save the earth.

We watch it because of seeking jobs, cutting articles for classwork only.

The  word " 陈“ spelling in HK is "Chan" instead of the Chinese pinyin （拼音）in PRC.

But for the name, officially will use the one that the guy used before.
So, it indicates the "country of origin".
